On February 2nd, 2022, the YARI Team helped 2 bedridden, below poverty line labor women from Narnaund, Hisar go to the hospital to restart their treatment. Both women, from the same family, have not been able to receive proper care due to financial difficulties. The YARI Team gave Rs. 1100 to Jai Bhagwan, one of the patient's husbands, to immediately start both of their treatments, and the YARI team has pledged to help them complete their treatment.
Unfortunately, one of them passed away the following day in the hospital, after the treatment started.
The other one is now fully saved, healing slowly and getting their treatment done routinely.
On February 15th, 2022, the YARI Team helped Anoop, a cancer patient from Bhaklana, Hisar with Rs. 1100 to start his treatment. Anoop has been suffering from blood cancer for the past 15 years and has lost everything so he can't afford to visit the hospital due to poverty. The YARI team will continue to support him in completing his treatment.
Pardeep Kumar is a student from the minority community who couldn't finish his GED studies because he didn't have enough money to deposit for admission. He contacted YARI Team India and they helped him to get admission and continue his studies. He felt very happy, with a huge smile on his, for the opportunity to keep on learning. He met the YARI Team at Tikri Border, New Delhi during the Farmers Agitation when YARI Volunteers were distributing safe drinking water to farmers.
On March 13th, 2022, the YARI Team met with a widowed, single mom who is raising 4 daughters without any support in Khanpur, Hisar. The YARI Team gave her Rs. 21000 to build her house so her and her family live there safely. She also got some help from local villagers who volunteered to help her build her house as well.
