YARI International is a group of social scientists and social workers who have been working together to eradicate various social problems from society. Our main focus is to create general awareness among people and empower them through health and education. Some programs include sending children to school for education, housing for the homeless and empowerment programs. We have interviewed more than 15000 drug abusers and alcoholics globally and provided them effective prevention and interventions for self help and recovery. Life development skills and approaches have also been taught to give them a better direction of life. YARI International is a non-profit organization working for the neediest people. YARI International has been working on these issues since 2001 and now has over 20000 volunteers worldwide.

Dr. Jasbir Singh Lohan is a mental health expert and life coach working with people in need around the world. He has been awarded an M.A., M.Phil. and a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology. During his research, he worked with various International & National Research organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Institute of Health (NIH), World Bank, UNICEF, Ford Foundation, Ministry of Health and Welfare, NGOs, Educational Institutions, and more.
He is also currently working as a Business Strategy Consultant for multiple banks in the USA. He has been awarded the International Young Scientist Awards and the Eklavya Award 2021 for his excellent work for the community, especially on substance abuse.
Because of his community efforts, Chandigarh was officially declared as the first “Smoke-Free City” in India in 2007. Dr. Lohan is a life member of the World Association of Cultural Psychiatry, Indian Association for Social Psychiatry and the Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Apart from his professionalism and natural leadership, Dr. Lohan is also an outstanding sportsman receiving Best Athlete in the Annual Athletic Meet at collegiate level twice. His favorite sports are volleyball and basketball.
